Not only is it beneficial for their overal mental and physical health but its also the way dogs have lived for thousands of years and it taps into their core primal instincts.
As owners/breeders of a high energy working breed ourselves, We realized that We couldnt find any place in our area offering a natural and high activity boarding experience tailored to dogs who thrive on a lot of outdoor adventure....
As avid dog owners, sporting enthusiasts and overall dog lovers, We saw a big need for a cage-free and outdoor oriented boarding resort specifically designed for our four legged pals!
Thats why we created North Shore Unleashed!

Spacious outdoor yards
Our newly installed fence systems are very spacious and can accomodate visitors of every size and energy level.
Our smallest run is 95' x 45' and contains different play structures and natural foliage/trees/rocks.
*Many more runs are already under construction for the 2023 season, including a pond enclosure for our water loving canines and a sport park with towers/ramps/tunnels and much more!*
All inclusive packages
We know it can be very stressful to come back from vacation to pick up your pet and find a bill thats filled with "extras" and "add-ons" that your pet has somehow accumulated over the course of their stay.
Here at UNLEASHED we are very transparent about all our services & packages. We will never slap you with numerous charges for routine things (like feeding special diets, giving medications, walks & bathing). Most things are inlcuded in our packages and any add-ons we do offer are all listed at the bottom of our page titled "Packages".
NO limits on outdoor play
A lot of traditional boarding facilities limit their clients outdoor time to a mere 15-20 minutes a DAY! Thats simply NOT ENOUGH for most dogs and can lead to anxiety, stress, destructive behavior & even health related issues. Now top that off with your dog already being nervous away from home and away from their family, and you have a recipe for stress and disaster!
Thats why we do it differently! We allow dogs as much outside time as they desire and take our cues from them. If they are social butterflies and want to spend all day outside with friends: thats doable. If they are more shy and want to quietly explore or laze around inside by themselves, thats ALSO doable!
Day & Night staff
Thanks to our knowlegable and caring staff, your pet will always be monitored and looked after during their stay with us.
We currently have a day & night shift set up so no matter what time of day, the dogs always have someone close by if they need anything at all. This not only helps with seperation anxiety and settling time at night but its also great for smaller dogs that prefer more frequent company than most 9-5 boarding facilities offer.
We will also adding indoor and outdoor security cameras for extra peace of mind and round the clock supervision of your beloved pets.
Daily enrichment activities
While here, your dog isnt just sent to an enclosure and left to his own devices for the day.
Just like sending your kid to summer camp, bringing your pets to UNLEASHED sets them up for fun filled adventures and daily activities, designed for enrichment and extra fun during their stay with us.
The activities are seasonal and change with our weather, so there is always something for every dog to enjoy and the staff get quite creative thinking up new activities to do.
Safe Socialization
We evaluate and place dogs into groups based on their individual personalities, energy levels, size, age & training level.
We also have quiet, solo areas so the more timid pets arent overwhlmed by their more playful neighbours.
This way every dog has a safe, positive and confidence building experience. No matter what they prefer, we will ensure they feel their best and are placed with other dogs who share their interests and needs.
